Is it a real phone number?
Yes. You pick a real US & Canada (+1) number by area code or city, and anyone can call or text it like any other phone number.
Do I need a second SIM, a second phone or Wi-Fi?
You don’t need a second SIM or a second phone: the app runs on the iPhone you already have. It uses your internet connection, so you need Wi-Fi or mobile data to call and text. Don’t rely on it for emergency calls; use your main number for those.
Can I use my second number for verification codes?
Many apps and websites accept it for sign-up codes, but some platforms block virtual (VoIP) numbers. Check which ones before you rely on it for an important account.
Which countries can I get a number in? Can I call abroad?
Numbers are available in the US & Canada, with Puerto Rico and Israel coming soon, and you can use yours from anywhere in the world. Calls and texts to US and Canadian numbers are included, and you can call 100+ other countries with in-app international credits.
How many numbers can I have?
Up to 3 numbers on one account. Your first number comes with your plan, and you can add a second or third number as an extra.
Can I keep my existing number?
Contact our support team to check whether your current number can be transferred; it depends on the number and its status. You can also choose a new number, and change it later in the app for a one-time fee.
Will people see my real number?
No. When you call or text from your second number, people see that number only, and the app never tells your contacts you’re using it.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, in the iPhone app. In-app plans start with a 3-day free trial with unlimited calls, texts, voicemail and spam blocking. After the trial, they renew at $9.99 a month or $49.99 a year unless you cancel in your iPhone Settings at least 24 hours before it ends. Plans bought on our website have no trial; they come with a 30-day money-back guarantee instead.
How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?
Plans bought on our website can be cancelled anytime and come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, manage or cancel it in your iPhone Settings, as Apple handles those payments.
Is my second number private and anonymous?
It keeps your personal number private from the people you call and text. It isn’t anonymous: accounts go through profile verification to prevent fraud, and we may share information in response to legal requests.
